Pilates is an exercise method that was originated by Joseph Pilates. It focuses on 6 main principles: Breathing, Centering, Concentration, Control, Precision and Flow. In Kathy's class, you will learn a series of exercises that will increase your strength and your flexibility. The great thing about Pilates is that anyone can do it! The class is taught so that you can work at whatever level is best for you. You'll learn exercises using the Pilates Magic Circle, exercise bands, light hand weights and even beach balls.
